American Culture Club of Sibiu

The American Culture Club of Sibiu is an extracurricular club based on the campus of Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. The club sponsors American cultural events and discussion of current social issues, in addition to providing an English speaking environment for various social and cultural gatherings. Moreover, the club creates opportunities to gain experience planning events and organizing discussions for the students of LBUS.

This evening’s American Culture Club focused on higher education in the U.S. and applying to colleges and universities. Charles gave a presentation on the logistics of higher education in the U.S., while Hannah talked about her own undergraduate experience at Beloit College. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the process.
